“Accidentally Beautiful”
©2010 Melissa Vargo Carlini http://sweetmelissavphotography.com

I took this photo while the moon was rising as we were finishing up a family walk along the Calcium Nature Trail in Calcium, NY. This was a total accidental shot because I was learning (as I still am learning) the settings on my camera. When I snapped this shot, I forgot the flash was still up so it created a really neat effect with the photo I think. I was also INTENDING for the focal point of the shot be of the moon and not the plants around me. I have tried to recreate this kind of shot since then and have yet to be able to do it.  🙂

This photo was taken with my Nikon CoolPix P100. I only used Corel Paint Shop Pro X8 to resize the image and add my watermark.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at this special creation!! I hope you have enjoyed it!! If you would like to purchase this work of art, please feel free to leave a comment below OR send me a message via the CONTACT US page 🙂
